An Historical Talk by Ken Hamilton

During the week leading up to the June 18th Ft. Halifax Days event, the Winslow Public Library will be hosting a talk given by historian and colonial reproduction artist and blacksmith Ken Hamilton. The talk will occur at the library on Tuesday, June 14th 5:30 - 7:00 PM and is titled "Glimpses of Wabanaki Taconic". " A Perspective of Native History during the Colonial Wars in Winslow, Maine". The talk will first describe the importance of Taconic in the lives of the original Wabanaki, and then it's relevance to our region's Colonial history (Wabanaki and Euro).
