![]() A-Shift Captain Waylon Capp Waylon joined the Winslow Fire Department in 2003. He attended multiple trainings to obtain his FF 1 & FF 2 within his first year. He obtained his EMS license in 2009. Waylon was hired full-time with the Department in July of 2013 on A-Shift. In 2016 he was promoted to Captain on A-shift. |
![]() B-Shift Captain Adam Burgess Adam joined the Winslow Fire Department in 2007 as a Call Firefighter and became a career member in 2015. He currently serves the town on B-Shift. Adam has 15 years of experience in the Fire Service, all serving the Town of Winslow. He is a certified firefighter, fire instructor and fire officer, live fire instructor and an EMT. He currently resides in Winslow with his wife and three children. |
![]() C-Shift Captain Jonathan Beringer Jonathan joined the Winslow Fire Department in 2013 as a Call Firefighter and became a career member in 2021. He currently serves the town on B-Shift. Jonathan has 9 years experience in the Fire Service. He is a certified firefighter and EMT. Jonathan also spent 5 years full-time with the Bath Iron Works Fire Department and brings a wealth of knowledge that includes shipboard firefighting and technical rescue. He also has extensive experience fighting wild-land fires and has completed multiple deployments to Canada and the western U.S. with the Maine Forest Service. Jonathan currently resides in Winslow with his family. |
![]() C-Shift Lieutenant Jeff Reny Jeff grew up and attended school in Winslow. He wanted to help out and serve his community, so in 2004 he joined the Winslow Fire Department as a Call Firefighter. In 2005 he obtained his EMT license and began working shifts at the Winslow Fire Department. He was promoted to Lieutenant in 2009 and hired on full-time in 2015. Over the years he has obtained many other certifications including Firefighter 1 & 2, Fire Instructor 1 & 2, AEMT, and Certified Fire Investigation Technician. He has recently completed the Paramedic Program at KVCC. When Jeff is not working, he enjoys photography and spending time on his boat fishing with his son. |
![]() B-Shift Lieutenant Shawn Stetson Born and raised in Waterville, Shawn now resides in Fairfield with his family. He entered the fire service in 2007 working at Waterville Fire as a call force member. Shawn has worked as an on-call firefighter/per-diem for surrounding communities including Oakland, Fairfield, and Yarmouth Fire-Rescue as a live-in student while in college. He also spent time working part-time for Delta Ambulance. Shawn was a career firefighter from 2014 to 2021 with Waterville Fire and Rescue and rose to the rank of Rescue Technician. He comes to Winslow with an extensive training folder with many technical rescue specialties and holds and Advanced EMT license. |
![]() A-Shift Firefighter Michael Littlefield Michael got his start in the fire service in 2018 volunteering for the China Village Fire Department. He obtained his EMT license in March of 2022. Michael was hired full-time with the Winslow Fire Department in 2022. He looks forward to serving the community. |
![]() C-Shift Firefighter Michael Greenberg Mike joined Winslow Fire & Rescue in 2022 while completing his firefighter Pro-Board training across the river at Waterville Fire Academy. He also serves as a volunteer firefighter in Unity, where he has lived with his wife since 2019. Mike enjoys hiking, paddle boarding, and pretty much any other activity that gets him outdoors in Central Maine's beautiful natural environment. He is very proud to be part of such a wonderful community and looks forward to serving the people of Winslow for many years to come. |
![]() B-Shift Firefighter Wyatt Oliver Wyatt started his fire service career when he was 18 with Danforth Fire Department. He moved to the central Maine area in 2018 and has since been a Call Firefighter with the Unity Fire Department and then with Waterville Fire Department while obtaining his Pro Board Firefighter 1 & 2. Wyatt was hired full-time with the Winslow Fire Department in August of 2022 and he looks forward to serving the community. |
![]() C-Shift Firefighter Eric Chamberlain Eric was hired with the Winslow Fire Department in November of 2022. He was previously a member of the call force from 2014-2018. He currently serves the town on C-Shift. Eric has 12 years of experience in the fire service working 6 years in Fairfield and 6 years in Winslow/Waterville. He is certified as a firefighter and is currently working on completing his EMT certification. He spent 4 years working as a full-time firefighter/security for Bath Iron Works where he specialized in water rescue, shipboard firefighting, and technical rescue. Eric brings a wealth of knowledge with his experience in the fire service to Winslow and looks forward to serving the community he grew up in. |
![]() B-Shift Firefighter William Crawford William joined the Winslow Fire Department as a career member in January of 2023. He has 12 years' experience working as a call firefighter for the town of Skowhegan and Anson. William was a 911 dispatcher for Somerset RCC for 23 years. He is currently enrolled in EMT class. William currently resides in Winslow with his wife Teresa. When he is not working, he enjoys walking and riding his motorcycle with family and friends. He looks forward to serving the community. |
![]() A-Shift Firefighter Thomas Brown Tom moved here in 1986. He is a Winslow High School graduate. Upon graduation he joined the Army and from there he started his fire career as a call firefighter in Waterville in 1996. He loves to spend time outdoors with his kids and girlfriend. He played and coached soccer and softball. Tom looks forward to working for the community that gave so much to him. |
![]() A-Shift Lieutenant Michael Murphy Mike has been a firefighter since 1991, and an EMT since 1994. He moved through the ranks from Call Firefighter, Spare Driver to Call Lieutenant with the Fairfield Fire Department. Mike was hired as a career firefighter in Fairfield in 2000 and eventually became Captain and Director of EMS. After 23 years in Fairfield, he decided he needed a change, and he was offered a chance to become part of a well led team here at Winslow Fire as a Lieutenant. Mike is married with 2 teenage girls and resides in Fairfield. He is excited to be part of an amazing, well-trained unit. He is looking forward to serving the citizens of Winslow for many years to come. |
