PSA from the Winslow Police Department: Shooting in Lewiston

Our thoughts and prayers go out to everyone affected by the tragic events that occurred in Lewiston last night. There is an active manhunt ongoing in Androscoggin County for the suspect.  Currently, out of an abundance of caution, the Winslow Schools will be closed today. No information has been revealed to indicate the suspect could be in this area, but we have police and fire personnel on standby and ready to deploy should there be a local sighting. While the manhunt continues for ROBERT CARD, remain vigilant and report any possible sightings to 911.
